Parody
Have you ever noticed when a parody is really well made, it can easily stand on its own? Well, provided that what the spoof is based on still exists. I wonder if it would cause a rip in the time space continuum if you went back in time and eliminated the original material, but kept the parody intact. That quandary aside, be sure to zip right over to AtomFilms and watch Me and the Big Guy. A great short film about something else we also experience every day. Enjoy!

Bananarama
Where would the world be without bananas? So delicious, so versatile! What other fruit can drive, ring, and um...port? Haven't heard of the bananaphone? The technology is so advanced that if you get too close, the bleeding edge will make you go to the hospital for stitches. Wondering about the secrets of the bananaport? Just like how the Matrix was all around Neo, the bananaport holds the same secret. New Orleans IS the bananaport! Plus the Japanese have already successfully ingrained it into their culture. Finally, I would have to say this is about as close as you get to bananas driving... or driving on bananas. Ok ok, how about driving next to someone eating bananas. Whatever. It's all The Good Stuff.

Hiatus
As you may have noticed, there was a slight gap in time between the last post and now, but never fear my loyal reader(s) The Good Stuff is here to stay! To celebrate this triumphant return, I bring you a rather entertaining flash movie entitled penndragon. All I can say is I believe it is The Good Stuff. Enjoy!

Brackenwood
I meant to post this a few days ago when I noticed the next installment in the Brackenwood series was available on biteycastle.com. The YuYu is the 4th episode featuring Bitey, the anti-hero of the series. If you want to see some of the best flash animation on the internet, I highly recommend watching the entire series. So go watch the first 3 episodes so you know what is going on! First is Bitey of Brackenwood, followed by Prowlies at the River, and finally littleFoot.

Kikkoman
Delicious soy sauce, what would trips to the Chinese Buffet be like without it? It brings us so much pleasure and asks so little in return. That's why the least you can do is watch the adventures of Kikkoman! Yes, this saucy superhero fights against the evil sauces of other nations to bring us justice, peace, and tasty soy! I recommend starting with the big-screen Japanese version, which should leave you thoroughly confused. After that, you can see the translated version, and for an added bonus, the translated add-on Banana and Shrimp Showtime! If you are really adventurous, you can go look through the ASCII adventures these flash movies are based on. Enjoy! It's Good Eats, err I mean The Good Stuff.

Stephen Colbert
If you haven't heard about it by now, you must be living under a rock. Stephen Colbert did a little speech at the White House Press Correspondents' Association Dinner on Friday. I was waiting for an easy way to watch without having to download and YouTube has answered, so go watch it, for it is The Good Stuff. It is split into 3 parts. Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. Enjoy!Update: According to Boing Boing, C-SPAN made YouTube pull the footage, so if you haven't seen it yet, I recommend reading the article on boing boing and following their links.
Update (5/6/2006): It is now on Google Video. See this for more info.
Bonus (5/6/2006): Check out the Stephen Colbert Musical Extravaganza!

No Description
I don't even know how to describe this. It left me utterly dumbfounded and confused. After seeing these I had to go sit in the corner and rock back and forth mumbling how, "everything will be ok." Everyone needs to experience some weirdness in their lives every now and then, otherwise how can you tell you are still sane? So to ensure your sanity, or to lose it, go watch Part 1 and Part 2 of krentz and the hand of shame. Then go take a bath to clean the dirt that won't come off.
